Inception

BIT Sindri was started as College of Mechanical & Electrical Engineering in 1949 at Patna. A year down the line, it was shifted to Sindri in 1950 and thus BIT Sindri was born. Eversince its inception, BIT Sindri has been growing leaps and bounds when it comes to offering a wide range engineering cources.

In the modern era, it is one of leading institutions in India built in lush green & sprawling over 500 acres campus. It has a dedicated buildings for each of the engineering branches - Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics, Computer Science, Metallurgy, Civil, Mining, Chemical, Production & IT.
